QUALITY SYSTEMS FOR PRODUCT & PROCESS ENGINEERING CERTIFICATE
Quality Systems for Product & Process Engineering (12 hours). This certification provides engineering managers with the technical expertise needed to manage initiatives in quality control improvement, problem-solving and reliability improvement.
Upon completion, students receive the Six Sigma Green Belt certificate. This allows students to advance and apply for courses that award the Six Sigma Black Belt certificate in Colorado schools or any institute across the country.

- EMEN 5040 Quality, Strategy and Value Creation (Spring) - Introduces business performance excellence, Six Sigma, and Deming's Theory of Profound Knowledge. Topics addressed strategically and tactically through case analysis, field study, and experiential learning.
- EMEN 5042 Methods for Quality Improvement (Fall) - An in-depth investigation of the concepts, tools, and techniques used in quality control, including statistics and probability and management systems.
- EMEN 5900 Research Methods (Spring) - Develops basic quantitative and qualitative research techniques and complete a research design.
- EMEN 5043 Advanced Topics in Quality Systems/Engineering (Spring) - Advanced study of methods, techniques, and systems associated with advanced quality control applications, including designing for Six Sigma.
