CAPSTONE: Capstone Presentation
An oral presentation describing and explaining the capstone project to the Capstone Committee is required of all students. This presentation should be no longer than 30 minutes, with an additional 10 - 15 minutes allowed for questions. The presentation should include a summary of key content points, state the intellectual contributions of the student, the lessons learned, and conclusions and recommendations. It should not be a restatement of the capstone report. All three members of the final Capstone Committee should receive a bound copy of the Capstone Report at least five working days prior to the Capstone Presentation. In addition one extra copy should be provided to the Program Administrator for the Capstone Library. It is the responsibility of the student to schedule this presentation with the committee members and to notify the Program Administrator. All three committee members must be present unless an unforeseen emergency occurs.
Although students are encouraged and welcome to present their final capstones on the Boulder campus, they have the option of presenting their capstone to their capstone committee via a video conference. If this option is chosen, a student is responsible for arranging the video conference and for all associated costs including set-up costs at both ends and call charges. Specific information about the video conference option can be obtained from the Engineering Management Program Administrator.
