COURSE REGISTRATION

Note that registering for EMEN courses and registering for eCollege access are two separate actions.
STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR eCOLLEGE.

EMP Students
	On Campus/Boulder	Distance (CAETE)
Degree	Register through PLUS. Use the EMEN course number and course call number.	Follow the CAETE registration process. Complete the CAETE registration form.
Certificate	Follow the CAETE registration process. Complete the CAETE registration form.	Follow the CAETE registration process. Complete the CAETE registration form.
Non-Degree	Request permission to take the course by emailing the instructor. Attach a resume or include a brief description of your professional experience. If request is granted, complete the CAETE registration form.	Request permission to take the course by emailing the instructor. Attach a resume or include a brief description of your professional experience. If the request is granted, complete the CAETE registration form.
Other Graduate Students
	On Campus/Boulder	Distance (CAETE)
CU Graduate Student (taking course for elective credit)	Request permission to take the course by emailing the instructor. Attach a resume or include a brief description of your professional experience. If request is granted, email EMP office to obtain a call number. Include the instructor's approving email. With the EMEN course number and the call number, the student can initiate online registration through PLUS.	Contact your graduate advisor to discuss your department's policy relating to taking a distance course while you are actively enrolled as an 'on campus' student.
CU Graduate Cerificate Student (taking course for EMP Certificate)	Email the EMP office to obtain the course call number. With the EMEN course number and the call number, the student can initiate online registration through PLUS.	Contact your graduate advisor to discuss your department's policy relating to taking a distance course while you are actively enrolled as an 'on campus' student.
Undergraduate Students
	On Campus/Boulder	Distance (CAETE)
CEAS Undergraduatess	Upper division undergraduates can register for EMP undergraduate courses through PLUS.	EMP undergraduate courses are not offered through the distance option.
