ADMISSIONS
Degree Criteria:
- An undergraduate degree with a GPA of 3.0 from an accredited engineering program. If GPA is below 3.0, GRE scores must be provided for provisional admission. Degrees in technically oriented areas such as physics, applied mathematics, and computer science are also acceptable. Prospective degree students who do not have an undergraduate degree in engineering or a technical field, have an opportunity to take some pre-entrance courses to qualify for admission into the degree program.

- A working knowledge of applied statistics.
- Minimum of two years of professional work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing.
- Four letters of recommendation from two academic and two professional sources.
- Certificate students interested in transitioning to the degree program are required to maintain a 3.0 GPA in their certificate coursework.
Certificate Criteria:
- An undergraduate degree in any academic field
- An undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.75.
- Appropriate professional work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing.
- Two professional letters of recommendation. (The Project Management Certificate requires one letter of recommendation from the applicant's supervisor or manager.)

*International students are advised to submit their application materials 2–4 months prior to the above deadlines in order to meet the departmental deadlines noted above. International applications move through a two-step process. First, the application materials are processed through the Office of International Admission and then forwarded to Engineering Management for Academic evaluation.
