Why study at CU-Boulder?

The University of Colorado is one of the leading research universities in the United States and is home to four Nobel laureates. The Engineering Management Program is part of the College of Engineering and Applied Science whose graduate programs are ranked in the top 35 among public engineering schools in the U.S. (U.S. News and World Report 2011).

The Engineering Management Program integrates the technology, policy and regulatory worlds, completing the set of skills and knowledge that executives and business leaders need. The EMP compliments, and can be combined with, the other degrees. EMP offers live, interactive graduate education delivered at a distance and features core Ph.D. faculty with president and executive-level experience in the private sector, curriculum with immediate applicability and courses designed for working professionals.

EMP’s courses form a cohesive curriculum that links all course content so that classes support and enhances each other.  This curriculum is focused on what is needed to manage and lead technical ventures.  A significant portion of this curriculum is not available anywhere else, providing a significant advantage to our students’ professional development.
